01 / Your game

Start with the idea. Shape the game around it.

An arcade challenge for your stand. A puzzle built around your product. Something personal for a particular occasion.

We can discuss the theme, the gameplay and which machine it runs on. If you need the hardware for your event, we can bring that too.

Tell us the idea, the audience and the date.

02 / The work

Games we’ve made.

Our own games, from the TCSoft collection. Examples of our work, ready for a closer look. The screenshots are captured in emulators for clarity; the games are made for the real machines.

03 / Real machines

Real games on real machines.

It’s all about the real thing

The original computer, its own keyboard or controller, and the glow of its screen. To show the range, our own game Croak runs on the BBC Micro, the Commodore Amiga and the Sega Dreamcast. Your game is made for the machine you choose: any of those, or the ZX Spectrum or Commodore 64. Each extra machine is a separate version, quoted on its own.

We bring the machines

Subject to availability, we can lend the hardware for your event, with period CRT monitors if you would like them, or use your own screens. We deliver it, set it up and stay with it on the day: out of sight, or helping to run the stand. Then we take it all away again. Anywhere in the UK; further afield by arrangement.

On a big screen too

To draw a crowd, the game can be shown on a CRT and a big screen or projector at the same time.

If you would rather run the game in an emulator, you can. But a real game on real hardware is what we do best.

04 / Working together

  1. 01 Talk it through

Your idea, audience, date and budget. We agree what the game needs to do.

  2. 02 Shape the game

Agree the concept, scope and quote. Review the work as it develops.

  3. 03 Get ready to play

Test and deliver the agreed game. If you need them, we bring the machines and look after them on the day.
